Preventing contamination
To ensure the safety of people and products and prevent contamination, many sectors use controlled atmosphere zones maintained at positive or negative pressure with a differential of just a few Pascal (Pa).
In cleanrooms, very small differences in pressure are used to regulate air circulation between different zones. Measuring these values is extremely delicate, as it must be done with precision, stability and durability. Sauermann benefits here from the 45 years of experience of its KIMO brand in this field.

Measuring instruments in cleanrooms require a very high level of accuracy and stability to measure pressure differences in the range 10 to 30 Pa. This critical type of measurement can therefore only be ensured by using high quality sensors.
Our new Class 320 pressure transducers guarantee accurate and stable measurement. Their accuracy of ±0.3 Pa and their programmable self-calibration system ensure long-term measurement reliability. Their IP66 waterproof housing is resistant to vaporised H202 and is specially designed for use in ZACs.
Si-CPE320
The Sauermann Si-CPE320 is an evolution of the KIMO CPE 310.
For clean rooms applications, the Si-CPE320 transmitter is flush mountable to avoid disturbing the working environment. It is equipped with a highgrade stainless-steel waterproof front panel with an integrated touch screen.
Equipped with the same technologies as the Si-C320, this panelmounted version provides state-of-the-art reliability and accuracy.
In addition, measurements can be recorded and downloaded via the Sauermann Control application/software.

Si-C320
The Sauermann Si-C320 is an evolution of the KIMO C 310.
For clean rooms, regulated environments and industrial VAC applications where a perfect regulation/monitoring of the air parameters is needed, our Si-C320 transmitters provide reliable measurements and allow you to achieve compliance with the strictest regulations.
The Si-C320 housing is waterproof, rugged and resistant to vaporised hydrogen peroxide (VHP). It also features a colour touch screen for comprehensive viewing and advanced control of measurement parameters.
In addition, measurements can be recorded and downloaded via the Sauermann Control application/software.
Differential pressure modules

The Si-PRO-DP modules for Si-C320 transmitters have a temperature compensation from -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F) and an auto-calibration process that ensures an excellent stability and a perfect reliability of the measurement in both low as high range over time.
Main applications: differential pressure monitoring in clean rooms, pharma/cosmetic and semiconductors manufacturing facilities, hospital isolation rooms, operating rooms and other critical environments.

Pour maintenir l’équilibre des pressions différentielles, il faut contrôler précisément l’équilibrage du réseau grâce aux mesures de débit d’air en soufflage et extraction ainsi que le taux de renouvellement d'air. Notre balomètre DBM 620 et nos différents anémomètres sont parfaitement adaptés à ce type de mesure.

The clean room classification is defined in ISO 14644-1, which sets out the requirements for air purity. Certain measurement campaigns are required to certify compliance with this ISO standard.
For areas that are less demanding in terms of accuracy and continuous real-time monitoring, our stand-alone differential pressure data loggers archive their measurements over a long period. Easy to install and highly mobile, some models offer remote data consultation.

Differential pressure measurement is a very delicate task, requiring a plan for maintenance, inspection, verification and calibration of the measuring devices using calibration benches whose accuracy is at least equivalent to that of the sensors.
To prevent production downtime, our metrology technicians work throughout France on all types of installations and processes and on all brands of instruments. What's more, our 600 m2 metrology laboratory can accommodate your equipment for all air parameters.
